“European Roads” has launched a strategic project aimed at developing human capital and supporting the sustainable transformation of the road construction sector. The initiative “Promoting Employment and the Development of New Skills in European Roads AD” is being implemented with the financial support of the Human Resources Development Programme 2021–2027.
The project is focused on enhancing the knowledge, skills, and professional expertise of employees through targeted training directly aligned with the dynamics of the modern working environment. A total of 44 employees from the company will participate in the program, with a strong emphasis on the topic “Green Transition in Road Construction.”
Within the training process, participants will develop practical and theoretical competencies in the field of sustainable construction practices, the application of environmental standards and regulations, efficient resource management, and the improvement of energy efficiency. Additional focus will be placed on environmental impact assessment, the enhancement of management approaches for control and monitoring, as well as the integration of digital technologies and innovations into construction processes. A key element of the program is the development of strategies for reducing the carbon footprint.
“Investing in people is an investment in the sustainable future of our sector. Through this project, we are not only increasing the expertise of our team but also actively contributing to the real transition toward more environmentally friendly and innovative road construction,” commented Margarita Popivanova, CEO of “European Roads.”
