In connection with the truck accident involving European Roads this morning, we would like to clarify the following:
There were no injuries or casualties in the accident in the early hours of the day. Our company is actively involved in the clean-up and is assisting the authorities in restoring traffic.
European Roads operates on the Trakia Motorway.
In order to reduce the inconvenience to travelers on the Trakia Motorway, we are striving to complete the sections as quickly as possible. To this end, a large amount of equipment has been deployed to the sites. A total of over 150 trucks are in operation.
The company has all the necessary insurance to cover the damage caused by the accident.
We appeal to drivers in the Plovdiv and Pazardzhik areas, where the designated repair work on the Trakia Motorway is being carried out, to drive with extra caution.
